Most people don't use a good high intense blowing fan which will dry the carpet fast in the area you do! If you use those rentals from the store they do clean but if leave to much moisture in carpet it leaves a sticky residue which will attract dirt fast than before! BRIAN CARAZO CUSTOM FLOORING!

Unfortunately I can't remember the other models we had (I think Hoover but I can't be sure) but I can give you info about Bissell's Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine. Obviously with 2 dogs the size of small bears, we need a good rug cleaner. We checked Consumer Reports and they recommended this one. It's big, so it's heavy and a bit unwieldly and it's not cheap, but if you want something that's as close to having it done professionally as possible, I recommend it. We were really impressed by how clean the rugs got. They also have lots of different cleaning solutions to use with it.
