Rhonda B. replied:
I have to disagree about Neushwander being the top in the area for knees. If it's sports medicine, Chris Harner is the best. If it's knee replacement, I'd point you to Brian Klatt. But it all depends on what exactly you are looking at. They are not all the same, orthopedists.
Joy C. replied:

I had Rogal do my knee replacement. He was awful. No understanding of the pain I was in. The pt told me to call my family dr to get pain meds to get through the therapy. Rogal would only give me tylenol. I had my other knee replaced by Dr Hung of Pittsburgh Orthopedics and he was fantastic.

Looking for recommendations for an orthopedic doctor specializing in hip injuries that accepts Highmark insurance. Thanks in advance!
Rachel A. replied:
Dr. Julius Huebner at Forbes Regional Hospital. He is also on staff at AGH. He is the best! Very gentle, honest, ahead of the game re. hip injuries, knee replacements, up-to-date on the latest procedures, medicine, etc. He will not do surgery unless he has no choice as he tries the conservative approach, if possible, at first. He and his associates also take care of the Pittsburgh Pirates. I have never heard a negative thing about him and some of my physicians go to him. He fixed me when no other orthopedic doctor could and was very honest about everything.
Does anybody know the group of the orthopedic doctors on route 22 and the street that comes out of Aber's Creek? I believe that's considered Export? Tia!
