Leesa - get A to go to doctors first! I spent a fortune at Lindfield Chiro & ended up with a slipped disc. Consultant has since said you need to be v careful re treatment as mine is likely to have made problem worse! Just worth bearing in mind. Also an X-Ray isn't worth the paper it's printed on ... My subsequent NHS MRI showed I must have had a slipped disc years ago which has since fused - I now have another one. The Chiro didn't pick any of this up. I've subsequently seen a lady at the Perrymount & someone at Re:Ab opp Zizzi's in HH - both good! Just get a docs referral first - Lindfield GPs were amazing. Sx

Afraid GPs are necessarily any good in diagnosing backs - for years I was told I had a slipped disc and would need an op. Finally got a consultants appointment at the Nuffield - he wasn't impressed with their diagnosis, did xray and lo & behold I have a damaged vertebrae not a slipped disc - treatment is diff for these two. Osteopath was brilliant & sorted problems quickly x

Peter, my hubby Jeremy used a lovely lady called Christine based next to Zizzi's in Haywards Heath at a place called RE:AB, The Physio Rooms, Church Road, tel no 01444 473970 He had terrible back pain whilst on his trip to China, and she certainly helped him after a diagnosis of referred hip and back pain from a possible prolapsed disc.
