I've heard they can be treated with duct tape. As a general practice I've never had a problem with them, my G P is Dr Cooper but I've also seen Dr Ha, can't comment about mental health issues though

I would recommend Everest house in a heartbeat but Unfortunately support for mental health from the experience I have had supporting people at work is sadly lacking, most gps will just prescribe medication but not deal with the underlying issues personally I think you are better seeking help through specialist agencies/charities as Viren mentions above ... only my opinion of course... however I would say Dr Bunn or Dr Shah if you were to go to Everest House

I don't know Everest House, but I would recommend Highfield Surgery, which is not far from there. They have several GPs that are excellent with mental health issues.

ps. There is a mental health support website that is free for Hertfordshire residents. It is called bigwhitewall.com It is constantly moderated for safety. There are self-managed courses in there you can do. There is a wall to post messages, and a discussion forum. The moderators are professionals, and everyone is completely anonymous (no mentions of names, locations, or any other identifiable data). I would recommend the site.

Dr Crane is good she was straight onto the hospital for a referral for me (after spending a year going round in circles) and it's all sorted within 8 weeks of me seeing her which included 2 consultant visits and a scan x

I find pretty much all the GPS there excellent but especially wanted to recommend Dr Gillham who has been amazing for my Mum - she only works Tuesdays and Thursdays though

I think there are more good ones than bad up there. I've seen most of them and the ones that stand out for me as best are Dr Kerry, Dr Crane, and Dr Osuagu. Dr Hybel and Dr Condell are excellent too.

DR Carr been with her since we lived in Hemel helped us endlessly to have our family and now sees us all and is a wonderfully dr and lady xxxx but contrary to other posts found dr ha good but do understand others points xxx

Dont go with Dr Ha, had an emergency appointment about my infected toe and chose to take my blood pressure and weight instead of actually looking at my toe... it wasnt until half hour later when he decided to give a shit..

My Grandad has moved to fernville recently and very happy with them. I am at bennetts end and if you get the right doc, they work well for you. McFarlane and Brazier are both great.

I have had cancer recently, and Bennetts End Surgery have been fab. Dr Condell actually spotted it, and even diagnosed my radiation damage from the treatment.

Highfield surgery, at the heights shops. Ask for Dr Jha, he's wonderful.

I've been with Highfield Surgery for 4 years and had no problems. Both practice nurses are great and the receptionist really helpful and friendly.

Longlands Dentist, I was terrified of dentists but they are fab. And hemel urgent care doctors surgery, they are open every day and Dr Godfrey has done wonders for me in getting results that my old drs didnt manage

You should complain to the practice. If you are not satisfied wirh their response, you can escalate to the Parliamentary Health Service Ombudsman.

Sorry Sue, the CCG is not the right place to complain about GP Practices to. They have their own complaints mechanisms, and quality is overseen by the Care Quality Commission.
