Pregnant with twins - best Cincy/NKU hospital to deliver? Looking for others in the Cincinnati area that have delivered twins and were happy with their experience....

Good Samaritan Hospital. They have the best NICU in the region, IMO.

Yeah, Good Sam is the ”baby hospital"

You can get a tour of any hospital you’re considering. I highly recommend it. I had my first child at Good Sam in June. I can’t say enough good things about the place and people. I’m pretty sure they are consistently top 10 in the nation for total births. They average something like 200 sets of twins a year. Plus you are down the road from Children’s in case of an emergency.

Good Sam, but... go where your trusted OB/GYN says to go and has privileges to deliver.

Another vote for Good Sam. But it will depend on where your doctor had privileges, we had to deliver at Anderson Mercy last month.

Our twins were premies and spent a month in the Good Sam NICU. The doctors and nurses there were fantastic.

We had twins and my wife delivered at around 36 weeks at Mercy Anderson. We used Health Source of Ohio as our OB. We had a few issues. One of the OB's at Health Source was...for lack of a better word, a dumbass. She's had a lawsuit in the past for pulling a babies head off during delivery. Yes, you read that correctly. At around 16 weeks, she had an issue where she couldn't pick up one of the heart beats with the doppler. She flipped the fuck out, panicked and really stressed my wife out. One of the other OBs later told is that it was VERY common for that to happen, and kind of gently told us he doesn't think much of that other doctor. Luckily, she wasn't on call when my wife delivered, and had she been my wife would have requested a different doctor. The hospital was fine, the ob on call was fine. My one real beef was with the Le Leche league volunteer. I had to throw her out of our room. My wife wasn't producing milk, and the doctors told us if we wanted to be able to take the girls home the next day, we'd need to supplement with formula. Le Leche lady threw a fit and started telling me all kinds of bullshit about how it will cause problems. My girls turn 7 next week and are the tallest kids in their classes and reading at a 4th grade level.

Adding to the Good Sam vote too. My son was born there and we had the best experience with the hospital staff. We both had zero, hands on, baby experience and they taught us so much. Go to Good Sam.

Old day Good Sam or Bethesda depending on the doctor and some cases religion. Our kids were born in Corryville Jewish Hospital. Neither my partner and I are Jewish, our doctor was right next to this hospital.
