It really depends on what you like. For sushi/pareve Asian cuisine, there is https://www.facebook.com/147626141988691 Sushiana. For burgers/gril https://www.facebook.com/200528290091285 led ch https://www.facebook.com/182723525501227 icken/foo https://www.facebook.com/117535918272086 d o https://www.facebook.com/644989465580744 f that ilk, there is Park Place Kosher . For meat Chinese, there is The Panda's Barn. For pizza/salads/etc., there is Jerusalem Pizza (though I think the food at Giddy's Pizzeria in East Brunswick is bette https://www.facebook.com/389726741206790 r - various pizza options, and I think more non-pizza options. My father claims Giddy's has the best eggplant parmigiana he's ever had). About 10-15 minutes north of Highland Park in Metuchen, there is The Orchid, which is a meat restaurant that has various Israeli types of dishes, burgers, wraps, deli, and more. While not fancy, it's a bit more upscale that Park Place, and has a much broader menu. Within each style of cuisine I mentioned, Highland Park really only has one restaurant, so it really depends on what kind of cuisine you are seeking.

East Brunswick has a very large Kosher community....it is maybe 5 minutes from the Shop Rite in East Brunswick....I know many of my friends in Highland Park are venturing that way.
