97124 Massage is for Full Body/Swedish Strokes. 97140 Manual Therapy/Soft Tissue Manipulation is for TPT, Myofascial Release, Medical Massage. 97140 pays at a higher rate, due to requires much more advanced training.
Hope M. replied:
That last link from KMC University outlined it really well. I just learned something! here's an excerpt: "A study was performed among Licensed Massage Therapists who claimed to be performing BOTH Manual Therapy and Massage Therapy in the same sessio n. An observer was unable to tell the difference between the two services when the LMT changed from one to the next. This illustrates the point that the service may LOOK very similar, but the difference is clarified in the documentation. The treatment plan for the episode of care must reflect the recommended service, along with the projected outcomes and goals of the treatment. Based on the two definitions above, the INTENT of the service is clearly different between the two. 97124 is often prescribed for the friction based, relaxation type massage that may be less specific than 97140. With Manual Therapy, one would expect to see the services ordered to address objective loss of joint motion, strength, or mobility, and they must be part of an active treatment plan directed at a specific outcome. For example, stated goals could say, “97140 is prescribed to increase flexibility of the quadratus lumborum muscles, while activating and stretching the hamstring muscles, to help improve the patient’s capacity for walking up to a mile, and standing longer than one hour at their job as a cashier”. Daily, routine visit documentation of the two services should also include progress toward those stated goals."

I would recommend looking at WebPT.com/cpt-codes . Full list of all Physical Medicine CPT Codes.
Cecilia M. replied:
Hope Morgan nailed it on the head as far as cpt codes get it from their physicians
Debbra G. replied:
You can also look online for Massage/Physical Medicine CPT Codes.
Don T. replied:
If the client is turning in the receipt, it then becomes their responsibility (not the therapist) to get the Rx and Dx from their Referring MD/DC. If you are billing the Ins, then it is the therapist's responsibility to get this info from their client

Thanks everyone. This is exactly what I am looking for here. Debbra Gould or Hope Morgan

I have been with State Farm for decades. They answer all my questions and I have never felt they have tried to over sell their products. Be sure to check for multi discounts - more than one car, safe driver, home owner bundles, etc

We use State Farm.:)

We use Liberty Mutual. We looked at some others recently and LM was still the best deal.

I recently got new insurance, mine old one didn't transfer across states, and I found Century 21 to be the cheapest (for me). They were about $50 less a month than all others and provided more coverage. They are an offshoot of Farmers Insurance (which is what I was using before).
taiguy replied:
Go through a multi-carrier agent so they can shop around discounts and packages. For instance, one carrier might be more expensive for car insurance, but when you combine it with home owners insurance the discount is better than any other carrier. [Mountain Storm Insurance](http://mountainstorminsurance.com/) has done well for me in the past. Reach out to Jeff Douglas over there.

I use progressive. They've been fine to deal with but I haven't had to register any claims or anything, just basic calls when I switch payment info or to get new cards when I lose them. They've at least been pretty cheap for me. I know AAA offers car insurance too, and they're generally very pleasant to deal with as far as my experience has been. That's really all I got though. Good luck

I use Progressive (have done so for many years), only had need for a claim once back in late 90 s - they were on the spot fixing it within 2 hours. Only based on that one experience, but they come through when you need it. (Or came through when I needed it, since it's just one piece of anecdotal evidence...) In the long run, that's worth more to me than a cheap rate.
