Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Fernando Cardenas of 3H. He helped Jennifer Frederick get her barrel horse from completely lame due to a torn suspensory ligament to running full out at barrel races in a year and a half (all the other vets said to put him down). He specializes in equine sports medicine.

I would recommend 3H Vet, located in New Hill. They provide excellent care as well as a rehabilitation program tailored to your horse's needs. Additionally, the facilities feature a European hot walker, a treadmill, and a vibration plate with a solarium installed above it. Word on the grape vine is that a water treadmill is soon to come. http://www.3 hvet.com/
Does anyone know of a veterinarian that can remove one of Simbas molars for a fair price in either Charlotte or back home? Banfield told me it would cost $543 to pull it...

Harley's vet is Timberlyne Animal Clinic in Chapel Hill, I couldn't tell you the exact price but they're always reasonable

There's a finance option called Care Credit, it's like a credit card specifically for veterinary care. Most vets accept it, and you have interest free financing for 6 months. We had to get a $1500 surgery for our pup (that we couldn't afford) and the card covered the whole thing. I hate credit cards because of the debt, but it was worth it to us, and if you're good at making payments it may be worth considering best of luck!
