We were unsure about our roof so Baker Roofing came by. I was very impressed with them. He was extremely honest and explained that we actually didn't need a new roof yet and could probably go another 5 years. We had some needed repairs and Baker referred us to Ark Roofing (919)303- 9000. Ark is wonderful and has done flashing repairs, replaced vents and did skylight work for us. Highly recommend for repairs! (The do not do replacements.) On a similar note, we had a similar experience with Meridian. Amazing how they can say we needed a new roof from standing on the ground and then completely retract it when they learn who our insurance coverage is with!?!

H.I.S. Roofing Ted Johnson 919-427-2075 ... 30% cheaper quote than two other companies for a new roof. I ended up doing $350 in repairs by Ted as new roof not deemed necessary just yet.

Seems that Meridian only does your roof if you claim storm damage. We asked them for a quote but they never showed up once we told them our insurance company because in Meridian's words "They are one of the difficult ones...if you had "no-name" insurance we could get the paper work through..." We had our roof done by Artisan quality Builders-Abel at 919-656-6319. HIGHLY recommend them. www.artisanqualitybuilders.com
