YES! Capitol Forest is awesome!!!
Anne-Marie R. replied:
Cap Forest is AMAZING:) TONS of trails. some of them shut down in the winter (too muddy) but there's a loop or two that are open year round. There's a whole bunch of endurance folks who ride there regularily, and you'd have a local endurance ride! how perfect is that?:D
Donna L. replied:
I just rode there today (in the pouring rain), the equine loop is open all year round, only about 5 miles or so, but I went around a couple times. Trails were in great shape. If you get a house in Tenino, there are tons of other places to ride, too. Capitol Forest is 20 miles from my place in Tenino, and Ft. Lewis is about 15 miles, Scattercreek is about 15 miles, etc.
Amy D. replied:
Capitol Forest is one of my favorite places to ride. I live about:25 min from there and would love a house closer to the area. It is a nice community in general and yet close to a metro area for convenience.
Heather D. replied:
Deb Dunham is an excellent real estate agent and a horse person in the area. Not an endurance rider, but she's a horse person and gets a lot of horse listings.
