Your State Farm agent or Claim Representative should be able to direct you to a preferred provider. The problem you're probably going to run into though is that it will be higher than you've been paid. With something like home repair, those items depreciate instead of gaining value and that's why you only received that amount. You only receive what the value is, not what you paid in or actual replacement cost.

State Farm is known for that. I f I am not mistaken they have had several lawsuits against them.

If you’re in the military use USAA, for everything and nothing else. We’ve dealt with State Farm before. They give as a low rate at the start so we got tempted to switch up. We’re on auto-pay, they increase our rate after a few months without telling us. They’re crooks. We went back to USAA.

Sorry I'm no help but I had the same thing. I'd taken over my dads policy and never missed a payment. So pretty much the same thing about 30-40 years of paying State Farm for all my insurance needs and the first time I needed to make a claim was ridiculous and guess what they jacked my rate up right after them claim. I ditched them soon after that.
