Looking for electronics repair preferably in Clear Lake area. Anyone know of a shop or gentleman/woman who can fix vintage electronics? My mom has a 30 year old alarm...

The absolute best vintage electronics repair place in Houston is SaveOnSound, at 5003 Antoine Drive. It's a funky hole in the wall, but the tech there is a real wizard with old gear. He's patched up a lot of my collection, and always does a great job.

You might call Ron's Electronics. I'm not sure if they're even still around though. 1826 S Kirkwood Rd Houston, TX 77077 (281) 589-1014

You might also consider checking ebay or similar for another one of those clocks. If it's the kind I'm thinking, they've kinda come back in vogue recently. You could swap the innards with your mom's, or it could be a parts mule for who ever does the repair work.
