What is the best Childrens Hospital in the U.S? My daughter needs help badly, we've been at Memorial Herman for 2 1/2 weeks and they found lesions covering her brain but...
Amy S. replied:
I would try to get her to Hollie Gilmer in Royal Oak, Michigan.
Elaine F. replied:
Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis treats a lot of Chiari patients!

Can anyone refer a good gastroenterologist in katy/houston?
Jenifer M. replied:

Karl H. replied:
I said listen to Lindsey Quinn medicine woman. The water is there, drink it.
Karl H. replied:
Dr. Roberson will do a complete deal. Whole life/diet/environment analysis. Which is what doctors are SUPPOSED to do. Not just treat symptoms with the drug company that gives them the best kick backs.
LaNan D. replied:
Clay and I both recently saw Dr. Paul Mauk at Digestive & Liver Specialists and we really liked him. The office is at Memorial City.
Stacey W. replied:
I'll tell you one NOT to use - Dr. Tennis Toland. My husband has Crohn's and all he ever did for him was keep him on the same prescription and do colonoscopies for ten years. He now has a ton of problems that could have been avoided if the doctor had done his job.
Sharon D. replied:
Dr Herman Mem City
Karl H. replied:
Just remember MD's take 12 hours of nutrition. They will give you meds laden with side effects that only control the symptoms and then whatever symptoms of side effects will need to be treated with another drug. Dr. Roberson is an MD but is also a naturopath she does a complete work up and won't just throw drugs at the problem. Off soapbox. Until someone says something stupid.:-)
Jennifer H. replied:
Sharon Rupert Dunaway yes for T. Need to get her situated with this new lifestyle and just get a real diagnosis.

Susan B. replied:
Dr. Stavinoha definitely
Jan G. replied:
Dr. Brian Douglas. I've been going to him for years, great doctor and listens well.
Dr Fein is awesome. I used to work for him! His wait times are long, but that's because he is very thorough with his patients.

Has anyone used & can recommend a good Gastroenterologist here in Pearland?
Edward A. replied:
We use Dr. Raj with Gastroenterology Consultants. 713 343-6360 He does take patients here in Pearland maybe 1 or 2 days a week.
Linda L. replied:
I went to see a Dr. Ned Snieder at Kelsey Seybold Pearland recently. Very easy going and.soft spoken. Willing to check something else before going straight to a colonoscopy.
Suggestions for a good Gastroenterologist in Houston. Would prefer someone who can focus more on nutrition rather than meds.

My dad retired from gastroenterology in 2012. The doctor that "took over" his practice is Ryan Barrientos. Plaza Medical Center, 1200 Binz, [forgot the suite #], 77004(across the street from Park Plaza Hospital in the museum district). Really good guy; my dad was incredibly confident in leaving his patients in his care. If you want to get a couple of other names private message me.
