I own a small welding shop. We use Houston Powder Coaters. (281) 676-3888Allied Powder Coaters is good, too, but they're more expensive.

I used Precision in Spring for some wheels. Quoted me one thing when I dropped them off, then the price was magically +30% per wheel when I picked them up. They're wheels, pretty common item.

I've gotten some drive gates and other things done at allied. Plus I know they do a lot of the big commercial projects around town. Their coating always seemed thicker than anywhere else but that could be anecdotal on my part. They are set up for big runs so they could handle about anything.

Does anyone know where I can buy seated WWII German soldiers to act as drivers, man guns etc?
In 28mm or 25 at a pinch.
Thanks
John.

Collectors Firearms Richmond/Fondren area - 7000 firearms Liberty Armory is cool, nice guys Full Armor Firearms is good, nice too If you're shopping for a pistol then go to a Gander mountain supercenter. If you're buying a pistol, you will find way cheaper online. Although you don't pay sales tax online, you will still have to pay shipping and transfer fees (which can still be less than buying from a big store).

I like Gander Mountain on Westheimer. I think it's near Eldridge.

Handle in stores, but buy online. Avoid all big box chain stores.

what are you looking for? standard glock or M&p to carry? Academy is your store. I purchased my M&P 40 Shield for $350 there and found they are reasonably priced. If you want a rare M1 Garand or a mosin then go to a gun show or antique fire arms.

Texian Firearms is owned by a redditor, and he gives reddit discounts. Can get anything you want.

Don't forget that you can shop on the texasguntrader.com site, by city, and by store seller and find some really good prices. This usually only applies if you already know what you're looking for, otherwise it could be overwhelming with all of the options. Good luck!

Radical Firearms and Battleground Firearms are both owned by friends of mine. I have shopped at Collectors as well. Liberty is fun, and right next to Iburn if you need hot sauce. Both owned by the Beck brothers. I like gun shows myself. There is one in Pasadena this weekend.

Athena's prices aren't horrible. Honestly, I'd go to a gun show, they usually have pretty good prices as they are competing with all the other tables.

Athena is more of an indoor range, "gun club". If you're on the west side shopping around, Collectors Firearms is the place to go. I could easily spend 2+ hours in there just lookin round.

Worth talking to Keith with Tac 47. It's a classic case of pick two from fast, good, or cheap as he stays busy. I went in for him to install a bullet guide for a Saiga conversion I sneezed while working with. Knowing it could be a quick job he just did it right then and discounted me the material cost as I already had it. Took it back for some work and I should have it back in 4 months. If he can't get you right back out the door it may take a bit. None the less, good experiences there so far. https://tac47.com/
