No vets are really cheap but I took my parrot to Arlington Animal Hospital for a check up and claw clipping and it was about $20.00. But they're going to want to do an examination and routine blood work which is probably a good idea. They are located on Route 44 not far from Kmart but on the other side of the street. You could call them and ask.

Julian Strauss in Amenia, If you can find a flea dip thats better and you can also try head and shoulders on them. I've used it on kittens all the time. Key is if you use dawn its has to be original. No matter what you use you have to let it stay on them as long as possible and then use a flea comb to comb them while soap is still on them. And then after they dry

Dutchess County SPCA has a low cost medical clinic now. 845-452-7722 I take my dog to Country Comfort in Millbrook...love them! Our vet told us to us those collars and we now have no fleas.
