If you like Mexican, I recommend Jalisco on Palm around 17 th street. The main problem is we do not have any fancy restaurants in IB. The Forum has steaks an other good fare. I heard Barrels is ok with a good view from the upstairs. If you want to travel to Chula Vista there is Dolphins, a more fancy restaurant, on J street, on the bay, with a more casual The Galley next to Dolphins. Nice views.
Can anyone recommend a good Japanese buffet restaurant in National City or Chula Vista, CA?
Sharon R. replied:
Not me I don't care for Japanese. There is a place called China Buffet on Highland Ave. Lots of good food to choose from. I don't get to go there often, I am the only one who likes the food there.
Sharon R. replied:
The other day while my room mate was out of town I was on the way to Cafe Di Roma driving behind you. it's possible your family was going to a better place. China Buffet is in National City on Highland, sort of diagonal from Sweetwater High School...very reasonable prices and a huge selection of choices, I hope you will try it.

Anyone know why Sea180, the restaurant in the hotel on the beach in Imperial Beach, would list it's "neighborhood" as Coronado in San Diego's Restaurant Week? Sad.
