Does anyone have a recommendation for a sling/harness for going down stairs?? My Kitty is having severe anxiety going down stairs. We have had her for over 5 yrs so...

It doesn't sound to me like you need a heavy-duty lifting harness (such as the Ruffwear Webmaster). My guess is you would do just fine with the extra control you could achieve with the Freedom greyhound harness from 2 Hounds Design. House of Earl may have some in stock that you can get quickly. I'd also put a mat at the bottom of those stairs to prevent any further slippage. http://www.2 houndsdesign.com/Freedom-No-Pull-Harness/

We got a ruff wear double back harness from Canadian Pet Essentials.com. For our senior greyhound that needed help doing steps. It is located in Bracebridge. We had it adapted so it was easier to put on our old girl.

Ruffwear Webmaster has a handle so you can suitcase them. It is a six point harness as well so it is secure. Ive used them on all of my senior dogs for mobile stability, and stair climbing.

We used this one for one of our dogs: http://www.amazon.com/Outward-Hound-21005-PupBoost-Harness/dp/B0081XICKS/ref=sr_1_2?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1446775621&sr=1-2&keywords=outward+hound+sling
Our vet has suggested that we use a harness instead of a martingale for one of our greys due to a neck injury.
Any recommendations for brand/type from harness users?

Wiggles Wags and Whiskers makes a harness that fits greyhounds like no other. Check with House of Earl...Liz usually keeps them in stock..:)

My girl was able to back completely out of her harness (A step in style from Pet Valu). I switched to Majestic Collars' Spook Harness right after. Getting spooked happens much less often for her these days, but I feel much more secure when walking her. Lots of customization options too which was a nice bonus: http://www.majesticcollars.com/harness.htm
Lisa B. replied:
Definitely Majestic Collars' spook harness if you have a spooky dog. Those are the best harnesses for those dogs! There's also another manufacturer of spook harnesses and people seem to be pleased with him. He's on FB under "One Stop Harness Shop".

I have "2 Hounds Design" for both boys. Love how they function. Dislike the customer service. Should you decide to order through them go up one size if the measurements are too close. It cost me in shipping/return and they would not credit me for following their instructions. I do however love their product.
I have been on line for days and most of these good people who help ar at there max and no longer taking appl.for funds or we don't qualify for anything other taking out a loan or major grant that will need paid back. I guess I am in GOds hands for sure. I have never seen anything called Vetpay Angie.

We are fans of the Banfield in Petsmart as well. When our Shepard passed a couple years ago, they moved other appointments for our emergency. (Another Vet turned us away) Now we take both Cats there. We love them.
