I wish I was closer i could help you! Only advise I can give you is always go back to basics, calm assertive leader on other end of leash do many exercises where you are walking with another dog on leash and just join in and walking side by side. More exposure and calmness on the other end of leash. Muzzles are also a great tool to use so you can have peace of mind no one will get hurt! Patience&repetition, and follow through. Always end on positive note, and make sure you can keep him paying attention to you throughout the exercise. Good luck! I'm jealous I like these challenges!!! I see it all too often. Please feel free to hit me up with any particular questions. In 15 years of working with rescued bulls mostly I've had one failure, to this day a gorgeous 150 lb American bulldog lives in my basement apartment, with my 22 yr old. If the person trying to work with this one has a visual in there head of things that went wrong/fight, it's harder for them. Set them up for success, patience, follow through, and repetition! Good luck! Remember their precious story of what happened to them shouldn't be told or swelled on just move forward they are capable of living in the moment! I wanna help!!! Damn wish I was closer! One day I will have my big ass RV and travel over to help you when needed! God I pray that day comes soon!!!
