My advice is when you are finally considering someone make sure they themselves are a pet owner. It can really help alleviate any potential problems as they have an idea of what it takes to take care of an animal.

I've used Downtown Doggy for their daycare and training. I think they do a pretty great job and have a nice facility. Jodi, one of the owners, really helped us get our rescue dog to be more socialized.

There are multiple dog parks in indy and you can register for all 4 for 125. The humane society on Michigan also has a nice one. http://dogfriendlyindy.com/place/smock-bark-park/ I've also heard good things about barkefellers for boarding.
