Southport antique mall on Southport road. For brunch I'd try Le Peep downtown. Oh and for groceries try Goose the Market or Turchettis Salumeria for meat. Edit: just realized le peep is a chain and not at all a hidden gem haha.

One of the oddest breakfast experiences in Indy is Best Best in Fishers. The food is above average, normal breakfast food. The gambling theme is pretty wild, though.

Naptown thift is a cool vintage thrift store off keystone and 54 st.
Audrey's place for, um, antiques? They have sooo much stuff. You go in and and there's shit to look at for days. It's like Disney world. You can't ingest it all in one visit.

I think the best thrift stores in Indy are [Rebel Vintage](https://www.shoprebelvintage.com/) and [Broad Ripple Vintage](https://www.broadripplevintage.com/). [Zodiac Vintage](https://www.instagram.com/zodiac.vintage/?hl=en) is also cool, I just haven't made it to Fountain Square as often this past year.

I'm not sure if this is a "hidden gem" but Midland Arts & Antiques is giant and has tons of cool stuff.

Saraga is great for a grocery store. It’s all international. I could spend a day in there!

Hampton Design Studio in Irvington is a must visit for antiques, housewares, decor, and random stuff. They even have a crystal section and bath bombs, jewelry, art. Its kind of a unique little spot and I love it.

Not hidden really but for grocery you should check out Turchetti’s.
Can anyone tell me where I might be able to find old pictures of Kautsky Grocery Store at Madison & Epler?

Wow. I started searching for some pictures and came across some interesting facts. I guess Frank Kausky who owned the store started a basketball team and actually started the line of professional basketball here in Indy. The team was originally called the Indianapolis Kauskys and then after 1 season in the National Basketball League the name was changed o the Indianapolis Jets. Here are a few links where I came across this information. Pretty Interesting. http://www.nba.com/search/?text=kautsky and also http://www.nba.com/pacers/montieth/arnie-risen-introduced-indianapolis-new-era-pro-basketball
Does anyone live in the downtown or Irvington area and can recommend grocery stores with vegan stuff - tofu, gardein, soy milk, etc.? I'm so far away from Whole Foods...
