Local Movers Anyone have any experience with local movers in the Fishers/Noblesville area? Looking to hire a company in the next couple months to relocate my apartment...

I second Two Men and a Truck. I just used them last month and they did an excellent job.

I’ve used Neita Movers multiple times. They are great!

Like i said the guys I used were professional and good, doesn’t mean they don’t have dick employees

I've had great experience recently with [https://www.getbellhops.com/](https://www.getbellhops.com/) (and if you use my referral code jamespaden46202, I'll get a $40 amazon card :). Uses local college students. In my experience they're less likely to take smoke breaks and stink up your stuff than your normal movers. But I've also had good experiences with Two Men and a Truck, Bellhops is just easier to just book online.

I've used All My Sons for my last two moves and they were excellent both times!

I've been working for My Movers Inc for over 2 years. It's rough work, but we've got a good group of people that are very strong, safe, experienced, and professional. It's hit or miss recommending a company because it comes down to the actual movers that they send you. Having said that, I used Busy Bee the last couple of times that I moved and was happy with them. I've also used Bellhops to move furniture from my house to the garage and back, but not to move from house to house. I liked the price, and they were fine for what I needed...but it was obvious compared to other people I've had that they weren't really *movers*. They were more like, well, a bunch of random college guys who can carry things if you tell them what to carry, where to take it, and maybe how to carry it. Actual movers know what to do and how to move things better than you do...on one occasion, the Busy Bee guys emptied my entire apartment in 20 minutes. But this is definitely a case of YMMV.

Don't use Master Movers. They charged me about twice as much as they initially quoted without explanation on my credit card and I'm having to deal with my bank to get the money back right now. I gave them the opportunity to explain/fix it but they kept blowing me off.
Roque088 replied:
The 2 men and a truck on technology lane in fishers right behind target are good, Atleast the movers I used were, they were very careful and professional went out of there way to secure the entire load

We used Coleman Allied. We moved from a 1,000 sq. ft home into a 2-story 2,000 sq. ft home - including wardrobes, mirror packing, and all of that fun stuff, it came out to be about $800. They were insured and did a pretty great job.

I can't give a suggestion but stay away from Biggs Movers. We had an appointment for 10:30 am and they no called no showed the day of our move. They really screwed us. A call to inform us that they couldn't make it would helped so much but common courtesy isn't up their alley. Man what a horrible day that was...

We used JLopez Moving a few months ago. They were so efficient and hardworking-- they moved us on that day Indy got 9 inches of snow. Despite the literal blizzard, they showed up (on time!), did their job, and didn't complain about having to move during the worst weather we'd had all year. Honestly, I thought I was going to get a call from them backing out, and I wouldn't have blamed them. I got their name from a friend, who was in turn referred by her parents. They were all happy with them too. http://www.jlopezmoving.com/
Kswiss66 replied:
Rays moving company, they got us moved pretty much on the nose of when they quoted us. How ever they under estimated the size of truck they would need and I ended up having to load a bunch into my own vehicles. Also due to over stuffing our freezer got dented from the move and shortly after stopped working.
riddus replied:
I just moved from Kokomo and used Red Cheetah. They were fast, professional, came in under their quote, didn’t break anything, and the owner himself comes to the end of every move to make sure you are completely satisfied. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
MadPinoRage replied:
I work for My Movers Inc. We are based out of Castleton at 8070 Castleton Road. I'd recommend getting a mover in Bloomington or closer to the southside of Indy because most moving companies charge drive time or include it in the hourly rate. However, we do move people from and to Bloominton. If you want to check us out you can view our Yelp reviews or our website. https://www.mymoversinc.com Our office number: 317 578 8200

Moved about 2 years ago and had a great experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk. Their workers were clean-cut, respectful, quick, and careful with my stuff. Not sure if they go all the way to/from Bloomington, our move was within the metro area.

We used Two Guys and a Truck. You have to pack your own shit, but they dealt with wrapping furniture and were completely professional, as well as affordable. Very careful of our belongings. Totally satisfied. Cost about $1000 to move a 1200 sq ft apartment, but we have a shit ton of books.

Mover Recommendations for Same Building Move Does anyone have any recommendations for a moving company to help me move within the same building, up 3 floors? No truck...
H3BREWH4MMER replied:
I used bellhops for my last move in Indy. It's kinda like... Uber for moving. The guys that came were waaaaay better than any "professional" moving service I have ever used. Good luck.
lkg74 replied:
Bellhops - I’ve used them for an in-building move and to move across town. Both times they were great and gave a pretty good price.
century_cottage replied:
I also used Bellhops after a friend gave me a referral for $40 off. They are transparent about charges; there were some fees and then a two-hour minimum and they charge by increments (so ultimately my move was 2.25 hours and that's all I got charged for, as opposed to paying for the whole last hour). You'd probably save from what I paid on the truck fee, and my move was very affordable and my movers were great.
TrillPhil replied:
Are you wanting to pay someone to pack your things or are you going to have them packed and just need 2 people to carry furniture upstrairs until it's done? Big difference from my experience.
d-handler replied:
You can go out to U-Hauls website and there's a section for Mover Help. This is the link -> https://www.uhaul.com/MovingHelp/ There's a long list of reviews for each. I can't remember off hand the name of the guys used over a year ago but it was the best money I spent. They hussled and got a 2 bd apt moved completely down the road 2 miles in the 3 hours I had paid for. Next move I'm going the same route! Good Luck!

http://www.leadersmoving.com Best move I've had. And I've moved a ton. The guys were good, and fast. But the most interesting part is that you tell them how many. Idea and what furniture and what not, and they don't give you an estimate. They give you a quote and they stick to it. I'm actually just starting the moving process again after 13 months, and the next thing on my list is to hit them up.
heavncentt replied:
We have used Greenwood Moving & Storage twice now. We had excellent service with them both times, hence the repeat business. I am extremely picky, they did a great job. Our last foray with them was in 2014 when we moved from a temp apt to the house we were building. They started the move at 8:30 and we're pulling away from our new house by 11 am, and this included a load up at a storage unit too. I appreciate that they work hard and don't milk the job for hours. They were also very careful with our stuff, a high priority for me since they were moving us into a new home. Highly recommend them!

I had good luck with Tranquility Movers. The guys were very helpful, packed carefully, and eager to please. The ONLY quibbles I had was that they have a smallish truck, so that if you have a BIG move they may need to do two trips.

I just moved last week with "Moving Dawgs" and had a great experience. Highly rated on Angie's List and lots of positive feedback on Facebook. They're owned and operated by firemen. Super nice guys (Everything was "yes, ma'am," "thank you, ma'am). Two guys got my 1BD apartment moved in under 2 hours. I believe it's $25 flat fuel charge + $80 an hour, but they have a $25 off coupon right now online (and I had a groupon, so you might want to check around for that). Good luck! http://www.movingdawgs.com/
