If Bob Ridge is booked, my second choice would be Andy Young with Granola Video407-2204. Did an event with this company at the Alexandrea Hotel and they were great.
Jesse Wallace is his name. The footage you can see is on Tricia San Nicolas-Spells page! She posted it last week. Hope this helps

Ikelite makes high quality housings for dozens of cameras. You could look for a used camera and save some bucks. http://ikelite.com/housings/index.html

Depends on how deep he is going to go and what circumstances he is going to use it in. I have taken a canon g11 int surf in a water bag and it was fine. Get a small camera that shoots HD and fit it in a bag, way under a grand. Sound wise your never going to have usable sound. Or just get a go pro.. Me? I would go go pro. So many uses other then just underwater as well.. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1003301-REG/gopro_chdhx_302_hero3_black_edition_adventure.html

We all know that some jobs just aren't good for people with Sickle Cell Disease but here's some that are...chef, baker, caterer, tailor, seamstress, graphic artist,...
Andrea W. replied:
Any career that doesn't involve being exposed to extremes of heat or cold could be suitable for someone with sickle cell. In addition to those listed, there are Researchers, Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants, Bankers, Office managers, etc. There are number of professionals working with sickle cell! Let's remember that when you work, you feel better about yourself and your contribution to society. Take the limits off! Education is the key! What are your interests? What do you love? What are you good at? There are a LOT of scholarships available for persons with sickle cell disease. Check it out at www.scinfo.org The more you know!

On employment issues: The Family Medical Leave Act of 2005 has a number of provisions that will protect you and your family if you are employed. Time off for illnesses (unfortunately without pay) can be done intermittenly or longterm as needed for up to 12 weeks per calendar year. You must talk with your employer and sign up for it. It's a lifesaver for parents too because you can use it when your child is ill and you need to be with them. You don't have to be self-employed to request a certain schedule, most employers are happy to make reasonable accommodations. You do have to be a model employee and not take advantage of the provisions set forth by law. Great topic! Thanks Sickle Cell Initiative for posting! I agree with Whiskey Delta Charlie as well. Blessings!
