Dermatologist recommendations ???? I got a mole in question........
Lori S. replied:
Dr. Alison Black North Irving / Los Colinas area. 972 432 0300The best Dermatologist in the Dallas area.
Jane M. replied:
Dr Stephanie Savory at UTSW... She is a wonderful caring Dr. Very thorough. She will remove it at your first visit (most likely) so you don't have to go several times before she biopsies it. Her Phone # 214-645-2400 Ask for her specifically. She is an Asst Professor (as most of those Dr's are) so she does not see patients every day...
Alison W. replied:
Dr Aftergut is my suggestion, although I love having female providers. Jane' s suggestion sounds great.
Kathy E. replied:
Dr Chris Crawford. Dallas Dermatology. Hard to get into but the best!
Terrie M. replied:
Dr. Bill V Way in Duncanville. Me and my daughter went to him for years. Hes the best around here. Removed a mole for me. Came back negative but seen a place on my face that was suspicious. Tested it it was negative. Tanning days are over. Good luck.

Would not recommend Dr. Sears, she told my mom confidently that the spot she removed was nothing to be worried about. Then calls back a few weeks later with results of melanoma. I understand her trying to be comforting but should not have played it off as nothing to begin with

Does anyone know of a good/local Dermatologist for my teenager? Appreciate any recommendations!
Deann T. replied:
We've used Pediactric Dermatology in Grapevine on NW Hwy and really liked them. Not sure how old your teenager is and if she wants to go to a children one or not. Both my husband and I go to Dr. James Bond in Grapevine. I've heard that Dr. Crawford in Las Colinas is good too.

We use Pediactric Dermatology in Grapevine on NW Hwy. Love them! I took Scarlett in for the bumps around her eyes and nose (you've seen them on her face). He told me what I could do to help speed along the process and then didn't charge me for the visit. Robin
Laura D. replied:
We also use Pediatric Dermatology in Grapevine. They have Saturday appointments. Although it does cater to Pediatrics, the waiting room and office is very professional and outside of a few video games, doesn't look much different that any other Doc office. My son is 14 and he thought Doc Ghali rocked.
Patti H. replied:
My 16 yr old uses Dr. Heldt at Southlake dermatology. He loves her and so do I!!
