Any suggestions for an eye doctor who does well with young kids? It seems our six year old may need glasses.

Dr. Wood at Ithaca Cayuga Optical on the commons is the BEST!!! It's usually about a 6 week wait to get in but he's more than worth it!
June V. replied:
Dr Schwartz does our neonatology at the hospital and Amy took Lincoln to him.

Dr. Bleiler in Watkins is terrific!!! I have had enough children go there to almost make up his entire client base!:) (Sue Mack's suggestion)

FYI.....Dr. Arleo's wife homeschools.

We took Lena to see Dr. Schwartz in May of 2012 and he was really good. She liked him and was very comfortable doing the tests that needed to be done.

We also like Dr.Wood on the Commons. But Larry's wife Larri has Waldorf connections. But I think we tried him and the wait was so long we found Dr. Wood.
Aurora M. replied:
I got my first contact lenses from Dr. Wood (at age 15). I can vouch for his expertise.
Jeff C. replied:
Dr. Alexander Wood is a kind and capable person and has a helpful and supportive staff.
