My husband took my cat without an appointment since it was an emergency. My cat was literally peeing blood and the vet on base couldn't do much for us and what they did never helped.

Don't worry about the language barrier. Dr. Morisaki speaks enough English to get by. The techs have limited English, but everyone there is very helpful. I take my little zoo there and they've been wonderful each time.

Morisaki Animal Hospital is a great one. It's close to base, the vet speaks enough English and it's cheaper than the base vet.

Dr Morisaki in town is good....the base vet has their information. There isn't always a vet available on base so I would have other info too just to be safe.

There is also a whole list of local vets and their hours in the notes section. Iwakuni Veterinary Treatment Facility is the name of the clinic page if you haven't seen it before

Base vet doesn't but if you call this number he will open up his clinic that is across from yellow hat. Very reasonable prices.

Hi Amanda Grace Briley, the Misao vet clinic just called back. He said that he is not in Iwakuni right now. That he can get back around 21:00 ish. He said that there is an Emergency Vet clinic open in Hiroshima and Yamaguchi too. Do you have a phone number that I could call you?
