Elizabeth P. replied:
Dr Clement off of Blanding Blvd near Confederate. Very good! Just saw my hygienist, Jenna, today!!! Can be reached at 904-771-0361. I highly recommend him/her!!!
Eleanor F. replied:
I love Dr. Larry Young but he is in Baymeadows. He is known as the dentist for chickens!! He doesn't over treat. My gyno sent me to my favorite DR. Vincent Ober in Lakewood. He goes to the Unitarian church and lives on the river in Five points. He again doesn't over treat and likes to find out why this is happening. He is a teaching Doctor at Shands. love him!!
Ronelle D. replied:
I've used Dr Spencer for years. He is on Riverside. Lena comes home from NYC to see him.
Monica P. replied:
Dr Edwards and Cavendish Adams street. 3533303 love them- family dentists
Lauren L. replied:
My dentist is 5 Points Dental
Nancy M. replied:
Dr. Roessler at 5 points dental is awesome.
Carol S. replied:
My husband loves Dr. Roessler at Five Points Dental and I have used and my boys grew up using Dr. Stephen Ferber on Riverside Ave. But as for a doctor, I'm not the person to ask. My doctor is in Fleming Island (though when I started seeing him, he was in R'side.)
Like my family doctor but thinking of taking my one and a half year old to an actual pediatrician. Any suggestions?
Karin M. replied:
Been to both Nemours in Middletown and Appo Peds. Much much much prefer Appo! Both Dr HannDeschaine and Dr Gotthold at Appo are fantastic!
Joe T. replied:
It would be a little hike but we did it after moving from Newark to Middletown and kept using them. They are Pike Creek Pediatrics. The care and concern when our boys were in that age was top class every visit every time!
Laurie B. replied:
Appoquinimink Pediatrics!
Janine D. replied:
Appo Pediatrics
Lana S. replied:
Appo Peds is awesome!
Tammy D. replied:
Appoquinimink Pediatrics, they are wonderful!
Tara K. replied:
I like Dr. Hahn Deschain at appo peds!
Rosanna B. replied:
It's a little bit of a trip, but we use Pediatric Associates in Christiana. I LOVE them.
Jimmy M. replied:
There is a Nemours office in Middletown. http://www.nemours.org/locations/delaware/middletown.html
Amber S. replied:
Appoquinimink Pediatrics
Tony A. replied:
I agree with Nemours office in Middletown. http://www.nemours.org/locations/delaware/middletown.html We've taken our 18 mo since birth.
Shelley K. replied:
I've been trying to get my boys into Appo Peds for months but they aren't accepting new patients. Nemours doesn't accept united healthcare insurance anymore which is the only reason we are leaving that practice.
Hey Jax Facebook friends. I have a friend moving to San Marco area. She is looking for a good OB, Family Doctor, and Pediatrician for her newborn. Any recommendations?...
Mindy B. replied:
Dr. Sarah Campbell Austin at Baptist South, she is part of the North Florida OB/GYN Associates 904-296-2441. I am so sad she won't be my doctor and delivering our little one. She is soooo great!!
Dina M. replied:
I use Carither's. My kids really like Dr. Wendy Sapolsky!
Jamie T. replied:
Carither's group absolutely! All of my boys see Dr. Sapolsky.
Sara T. replied:
Progresssive Pediatrics is the awesome. They are not accepting new patients except newborns.
Jennifer M. replied:
MD Rodrgiuez at Jax Beaches and Dr. Mosolf at Jax Beaches. BOTH amazing!
Whitney A. replied:
Jax pediatrics. Nice group of doctors who really get to know your family because there aren't too many. Whenever Cameron was sick they got him in the same day, but usually within a few hours. Dr always calls back within 30 mins when a call made to answering service on nights/weekends rather than a triage nurse. Sick and well waiting rooms. Dated facility but quality doctors
Missy F. replied:
Dr. Glas at North Florida OBGYN! She's amazing! - was with Heather's doctor until he moved.
Heather R. replied:
Dr. Trogolo at Women's Physicians of Jax it's a branch of North Florida OB!! Carithers Pediatrics is a good pediatrician
Amy P. replied:
North Florida Obgyn-Dr. McIntyre and I use Jacksonville Pediatrics and see Dr. Thornton and Dr. Stanley
Natalie L. replied:
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Mitzi Brock -- with Sekine, Rasner, & Brock for OB/GYN. Based out of Mandarin off of San Jose. And Mandarin Pediatrics -- Dr. Keen. Highly recommend both of them!
Sheryl W. replied:
Dr Garcia is the best OB ever. With NFOBGYN
Sheryl W. replied:
Office is downtown baptist and delivers there too. Martin Garcia
Local Fleming Island peeps...I'm looking for a new family doctor/general practitioner...any suggestions?? Thank you!! :)
Tara F. replied:
I see Dr. Lebeda & Evans heading toward Green Cove by Magnolia Urgent Care. They are husband and wife. Love them. They see kids too but still have our kiddos at Fleming Peds.
Tiffany P. replied:
I use Dr. Jennifer Stone at St. Vincent's Primary Fleming Island! She is awesome and very smart;). She is actually the one who caught that my liver was at high levels and got the ball rolling for me on getting answers
Jennifer S. replied:
Dr Melia Evans! Same office as Tara recommended. 529-2500

Kelly M. replied:
I go to Tessa Ricci she is in bartram next to kohls.
Leslie P. replied:
Love Dr. Kaluza at Southlake FP. She is independent, with a NP. She is a wonderful doctor, her office staff is wonderful, and I've been going for at least 5 years. They are great at fitting you in when you have a problem.
Sarina D. replied:
I go to Baptist Health on 210. My kids go to a pediatrician in Mandarin. However, my doctor is a family doctor. I had just already taken them to the pediatrician by the time I had to go to the dr.
Leslie P. replied:
We have thought about all transferring to Dr. Kaluza as she is good. But DS is a teen now and modest about going to a female doc.
Bill M. replied:
Baptist health on SanJose. Dr Patricia Calhoun. Great Doc. 12 years with her.
Clair J. replied:
We see Dr Mabus on CR210 by the Publix. She is a family practicioner. I have also seen the other doctor in that same office and like her a lot too.
Stacey M. replied:
We see Dr Grewal on 210 she works with Dr Mabus we have seen both and like them both very much
Rhonda L. replied:
I have been using Dr Allison Mabus (above posts) for last 2 years also. They are affiliated with St Vincent Healthcare System. I've had no problem scheduling visits and have never been subject to sitting in the waiting room seemingly forgotten! Previously I used Baptist group in South Mandarin but I got really tired of sitting in the waiting room for 45 min before the MD saw me every time I went.
Can anyone recommend a family doctor where you don't haw to wait for an hour after your appointed time to be seen? Prefer y mandarin/southside area
Dana J. replied:
If Dr. Bud Wolfson is in the JTB-Belfort Rd area he gets my vote. Best GP I've ever seen in Jax and his uncle was my pediatrician! Matter of fact I'd like to switch back to him. I had to switch doctors when working at the beach, so I didn't have to take a day off to go to the doctor.
Candi W. replied:
I agree. Dr. Bud has been the Woodbury family Dr. forever. I see PA Futch at the same office.
Beth G. replied:
I have been going to Dr Billingsley for 20 yrs, she always has an PA in the office also. Never had to wait long.

I swear I see this awesome black guy (i only mention that because well ya know)named Dr Wesley Mills on gate parkway . He's the only doc in his practice and I've followed him for years. He keeps it real and I feel like I'm talking to a friend not just a doc. He listens too! Totally totally cool young guy
Matt S. replied:
I actually saw Dr Mills myself when he was part of another practice over off University some years back. Very cool guy and friendly from what I remember.
