When I lifted my arm it makes it feel better. My Neuro surgeon also told me the exact same thing....it's the classic sign for a cervical herniation. I have walked around since Dec 17 constantly raising my arm over my head. Heck, I was ready to cut my a rm off. It's better today but not all gone. Dr. Tomaras said it's the exact level Peyton Manning had his herniate. He said my pain would be instantly gone if I had the surgery because he would remove the disc. Mine is pressing on the nerve bundles affecting my right side and deviated so that it's pressing on my spinal cord. My only deficit is weakness in my right hand and arm. Dr. Tomaras said that was damage from the nerves but would get better with exercise. My neck hurts a lot and aches and burns especially if I work really hard but I'll take the neck pain versus the nerve pain. I also unknowingly stressed it by putting dry heat to it....That's a huge no no. But, I didn't know. It only inflamed it and increased the swelling which increased the nerve pain. It took a week to get the inflammation down. Now it feels like an ounce is on my nerves versus 10 pounds. I'll take the ounce.

I went to Dr. Moss. My insurance " required " physical therapy first. When that didn't work, which we knew it wouldn't.... I was referred to Dr. Cha.
Edwina D. replied:
Dr. Davis in Ellijay is great but if it is more serious than that my neurologist that just did my surgery is Dr. Franklin Lin at Kennestone. I have the degenerative disc disease and had 2 severely herniated discs that we're bulging with bone spurs tha t were constantly pressing on my nerves. My right side hurt constantly. I put up with it for 9 months before I had the surgery. I was all better as soon as I come out of surgery. I should have done it much sooner. As Dee said make sure you see a neurologist from the start.

Well...I would sincerely suggest Dr. Brandon Fuzi in Blue Ridge.
Okay..... I can't take much more of this pain, tingling and numbness in my right arm. Robert Jones seems to think a chiropractor can help. Can anyone recommend one in...
