Neurology clinic at the University. Great doctors

Try seeing Dr Gary pearson? Not neuro but he'll be brutally honest and I would go to whomever he recommended (I'm currently seeing him as primary because I've been told I have an autoimmune disorder, but my biopsy was messed up and told by my neurology my symptoms are more fitting of a DIFFERENT autoimmune disorder. He told me all my systems could be caused or could be made worse by my migraine meds)
Katherine O. replied:
Have you tried Chircopatic medicine. I have dealt with the same type of headaches all my life and since going to Dr Wheat. I don't have them but every so often. Can't help you with neurologist because mine is in St. Louis. Dr Thomas Forget. Love him and will go to him till he retires.
Jennifer L. replied:
Dr. Ruthanna Hunter, Capital Region Neurology. She will get to the bottom of it and try everything under the sun to help you! She's very sympathetic and knowledgeable. I'm glad she's my doctor. BTW, I found her after trying many others, so I know a good neurologist from a bad one. To see her you would need a referral from a family or some other type of doctor. Good luck!

Dr. Chris Link
Michelle H. replied:
Dr. Hunter at Capital Region
Jaymie H. replied:
I see the docs at Neurology Inc in Como. Love them all! Beware of OTC meds, they can cause rebounds and make things worse in the long run. Until you can be seen try things like hot Epsom salt baths, hot or cool on head and neck, essential oils, binaural beats, Vick's Vaporub on temples. Good luck! Just remember there is hope. I was a chronic migraine sufferer and am now down to 5-6 a month.
Janet G. replied:
I get botox treatments for migraines thru Neurology at University Physicians
Toni C. replied:
I see Dr Morris at Cap Region. Super nice. I have chronic cluster migraines. The only OTC you should take is Aleve. Too much Advil or Excedrin causes rebound headaches which are just as bad as the migraines. Also add a magnesium supplement daily. Big cause of migraines is mag deficiency

Honestly try going to a chiropractor to make sure your neck and spine are in line too. Hilary HollonHula or Derrijk Hollon

Following. We have seen Dr Bachu. He is primarily in Columbia. I believe he has an office at the lake and once a week in Jeff. Its been awhile since we've seen him. He does not speak great english nor does his assistant. He primarily deals with ms patients but does see some nuerology. Dont have any complaints with him. Following bc nobody seems to have answers for peripheral neuropathy. Nothing is happening in two years just keep refilling meds. Its frustrating.
