Does anyone know of an optometrist in Jefferson City that uses the optomap retinal machine instead of dilating your eyes? I found plenty of places in Columbia but...
Linda B. replied:
Try Central Missouri Eyecare Associates. I think I got a flyer in the mail last month about them getting this machine. Beware though- they did mention in the flyer that many insurances don't cover the extra cost so ask about it up front.
Recomendations for optometrists in the area? Would like to go to a place with the best eye wear selections. What are your experiences?

I have a two year old who may need glasses. Any suggestions for a pediatric optometrist that you all like? Thanks in advance.

I don’t have any suggestions for a pediatric optometrist, but my brother is an optometrist with Columbia Eye Consultants in Columbia and he’s great!

I have a 3 year old that sees Dr Cohen at University Eye Institute East in Columbia. Dr Cohen is very good with the kids. Their office is right across from Women’s and Childrens Hospital

Central Missouri Eyecare is great! My son has gone there since he was and infant.
