The doctors are caring, attentive, don't brush off or act annoyed by my millions of questions or concerns, and are all around great people. I understand wanting affordable, but I also believe you get what you pay for. I've had bad experiences previously when looking for "a cheap vet"... Just my two cents! PS YOUR DOG IS SO CUTE

If you don't mind driving 30 miles, there is a place that does low cost spay/neuter and walk in vaccine clinics (no office visit fee). I didn't have to have proof of income, it didn't matter where I lived, and they were the cheapest I could find. Dr. Emslander JCMG she is WONDERFUL! I just had my first baby back in April and she is his dr. She explains everything, she knows what she’s talking about and she will spend lots of time in the room! She doesn’t act like she’s in a rush she takes all your questions seriously even if they may be goofy. She reassures you that you are doing a great job. She is just hands down THE BEST. she is never on time tho.. but like I said she doesn’t rush her patients out!

Brian Conley with St. Mary’s Peds is awesome. I also like Jennifer Krause. Both very nice, knowledgeable doctors. My kids love both of them. My youngest is a late term preemie. Not anywhere near the difficulties you are dealing with, but it’s scary when they arrive early. Hope your son does well and can get home sooner than expected ❤️

Jammie the boys go to JCMG Pediatrics and see Dr. Klutho. They love him and so do I. Adam dislocated his elbow, we were afraid he had broken it, and when we called to see if we could get in and get an xray they got us worked in immediately. Got him fixed up and even checked in with him a few weeks later to see how he was doing. He is amazing with the boys.

My kids have been going to the community health center for over 4 years now and I live DR Howe. She is amazing and has put up with multiple visits from my 4 youngins and saved me many visits by treating them all when one had something serious so I didn't have to repeat appts.

Emily George at JCMG is good. Plus with JCMG they have extended care if your a patient there which means you can get in on the weekends and weekdays without an appointment. This has been a life saver for me.

Dr. McElroy at St. Marys Peds has been our family Pediatrician since my oldest sister (who is now in her upper 20 s) was a baby! He knows how to talk to young ones, and you'll always hear him whistling down the hallway before he gets to the door:) strong recommendation
