My nieces used to go to a Doctor on Lovers Lane but they changed to Dr. Hugget in Paw paw. It's not Kalamazoo but my sister says he is worth the drive. The kids love him too.

Nancy hilleren has always been fantastic. Very sound medically (rarer than you think). Dr. Galindo is Slso quite good

I miss Dr. Purdy. And the next time they say something about Grace's weight, just tell them about Jimmy's family. Better yet, have them ALL go to the doctor with you. They are TALL! We are short! Thank god she got their genes so she can reach things for you when she's older. I love you both and have no problem arm wrestling someone on your behalf.

I love Bright Futures Pediatrics on 9 th St. Not sure if they accept Medicaid.

Tara we go through this with our foster kiddos every time we get new ones. The only doctors in Kalamazoo area that accept new Medicaid patients are Family Health Center and the practice you just left. You'll have to probably go outside of Kalamazoo. Good luck.

Hey my pediatrician is great! She accepts medicaid... you will have to call and see about them accepting new patients...it's in Battle creek though. Her name is Krystyna Malec. She is an amazing doctor. She won't even prescribe medicines etc unless absolutely necessary. 269-962-6221

It depends on whether or not you are choosing to vaccinate. Dr. Born's office is GREAT about honoring what the parent's beliefs are. Other ped offices will kick you out if you choose to not vaccinate or delay vaccinations. We use Dr. Born:-)

We don't use a pediatrician, but rather a DO (Dr. of Osteopathy). They're training is sort of like a combination of that of an MD & a chiropractor. Ours (Dr. Eric Born) is the most holistic dr. in the area (as far as I've heard. . .), & has a great vaccination schedule for the little ones so as not to put too much stress on their bodies, & yet they have all their required vaccinations by school-age. . .

Our family sees Dr. Born also, but I am not sure he is taking new patients? You should call to see!

I use Dr. Ensfield on Milham in Portage. Amazing doctor and staff. They have come in on a Sunday to treat our son. They are wonderful!

Dr. Ensfield had accepted our wishes to not use certain vaccines and has never pressured us into anything- thank goodness! They do share the pros and cons and urge us to get them but I'm glad they didn't kick us out! Lol

I also use Dr Ensfield. He was my doctor growing up too

Can dads make recommendations? We use Bright Futures. We don't go in very often, but they do call back when you call after hours. No complaints.

We use Trestlewood Pediatrics and we love them. There is always a Dr. on call and they are so very friendly. I'm very happy with them.

We love Rambling Roads on Center St. Mary Schira NP and Dr Elias are both great!

We go to Rambling Road on Stadium. I have never had any problems. My favorite doc is Dr. Dyk very good with the kids and parents.

Pro Med Pediatrics rocks! The P.A.'s and staff are very knowledgable and friendly. Due to the office size u can get in very quickly, which I think is very important. Within the same building is an affiliated quick response and lab.

I absolutely LOVe Amy Roberts in Paw Paw.

I love Trestlewood across fron mikham Park. I picked them because Dr Page is a former PICU Dr & I always liked him. Bronson Lakeview peds in Paw Paw is hard to get an appointment, from what I hear. Never have had any troublw getting a same day appointment@Trestlewood, have never felt rushed thru an appointment.

Dr. Kavanaugh Paw Paw Lakeview Pediatrics. I heard Amy Roberts is great too.

We just switched to Bronson Lakeview Peds after getting kicked out of a practice in town. My kids have only had physicals there so I can't say anything about abx use, but we saw Dr Cartmill, got no grief on our modified vax schedule and I felt like he respected our role as parents and that I knew my children and what was right for them best. I will say that for one of my daughters, he did question our use of whole milk dairy but once I explained how we eat and how we structure our meals for our kids he thought that our approach was appropriate and didn't suggest changing it. I will say that we live in the center of Kzoo so it is a good half hour drive but since my kids are rarely sick enough to go to the doctor outside of physicals, it seems fine.

We like Constance Mumford at Borgess Promed. I will say, we only ever go in for very rare sick visits, didn't do wbc, don't vax, and don't ask her opinion on our parenting practices. She's very low key.

I have no idea if she's taking patients or not, but we all see Nan Haring (FNP) at Bronson Family Medicine and we couldn't be happier or feel more respected.

One of my kids liked Dr. Little; the other didn't. I don't have any other suggestions. Tell him hello from me the next t ime you see him!

Dr Amber Darey Thomas or Dr Cieseske they are on Center Street. Bronson Family Health.

I will put a second vote in for Annie's health care office. I have seen Dr. Schreiner, and Dr. Davidson. Both are excellent.

We used Rambling Road Pediatrics. We used all of the docs there and thought they all were good. They are out on Stadium past 131. Originally there were on Rambling Road. David, my son, stayed with them until he turned 18 and graduated HS.

Trestlewood. Susan and I went there as kids and so do our boys now. We love them! Multiple docs, always get in right away and our boys love Dr Somers

Trestlewood Pediatrics!!! We've met every doctor there and they are great. If you have an emergency after hours, one of the docs always has the on call phone with them. And they have Saturday hours as well and won't leave until every sick child is seen!

We also love Trestlewood. All the doctors are wonderful, Dr. VanEs is our favorite. He has worked with Ty Henry since we were in the hospital.

Bronson Rambling Rd pediatrics. I've seen 4-5 doctors in the office and like them all

Trestlewood Pediatrics hands down. They ALWAYS have gotten me in same day if you need it...even if you call at 4:45, they will stay late for you. They are right by Loy Norrix.

I second Trestlewood. We have mainly seen Dr Somers and Dr Page! But all their docs are great!

I'm not sure if he is still there, but dr Eric slosberg was at ProMed Pediatrics in Richland. He also had a practice in Battle creek focused on Autism. We saw him for a while and I think he mentioned he had over 100 patients with autism. May be a place to check out. It's close to you at least! Good luck!

Dr. Slisberg retired but there are lots of options. Char, call the office and ask for Amy. I'll get you some names.

Dr. Cicielski (sha-shell-ski) at Bronson Medical on Center St is absolutely wonderful. Takes a more holistic approach.:-)

My doctor for my first pregnancy was Dr. Nankin. I loved her!!
