singdancekc.com I've actually talked with this instructor - Paula Marie- on a Royals fan forum for years. Have no idea about ballroom dancing - just know that it's something she teaches and she's a very nice woman.

I recommend Matt Schissler or Katie Moshier at Melange (melangekc.com). Both great teachers. Melange also has group classes you can take during the week that are really affordable and can get you doing the basic steps and intermediate form before you start with the private lessons.
