Butler Animal Clinic is the best. We have been taking our fur babies there for many years and have never had any issues, very kind and courteous staff.
See Dr. Jessica Matlock at karns animal clinic. She is amazing. Mine had what thought was a seizure at the vet. She immediately knew it wasn't and it was his heart.

Pru isn't a member but she is a licensed vet. She said, " can't post, not a memeber.. Butler is good.. Dr Jim Butler". Hope this helps.

We like Karns Animal Clinic
Tamara L. replied:
As the owner of 6 dogs, and the parent of someone who owns a pet sitting business- I've had experience with Karns, Butlers, Hardin Valley and have spoken with Cedar Bluff in the past. I highly recommend Butlers over any of them every day of the week. I would agree - avoid the female doc but every other vet there is superb, and my animals - who are like my kids, will be trusted with no one else.
Matthew G. replied:
Cedar Bluff Animal Clinic is amazing! I love Dr. Wulforst. Dr. Wolf is also great.
Opinion, who is the better Vet Clinic, Butler's or Karns Animal clinic?
Paula B. replied:
Karns Animal Clinic
Jodie M. replied:
I have no experience anywhere else but Dr Nathan Butler is great.
Melissa M. replied:
Both are good. Prefer Karns
Sandra S. replied:
This is a totally loaded question!! I have lived through the break up! We use neither now but Karns was always our go to till we moved. Now we use Banfield Pet hospital and have insurance through them. Office visits are free.
Carolyn C. replied:
Butler's is not expensive and they are top notch in veterinary medicine for all animal breeds. The Butler name has always been considered a founder and leader in this community and is known for their love and devotion to outstanding care of all animals. Dr. Nathan Butler is one of the most caring people and most knowledgeable you will ever meet. I've known him most all his life and he is totally devoted to his calling in preventative and corrective care in every breed of animals. All of the vets at Butlers are selected on the same high standard criteria and of course Jim Butler is the owner and followed in his father's footsteps so there is a long line of passed down knowledge, highly educated quality doctors, love of veterinary care, and we are so lucky to have them here in Karns.

Jodie M. replied:
Libby Bly where do you see mean minded? She is just asking for opinions. Kristi Hopper Brown as for Butler going tbe extra mile I have to disagree. I was in a major bind with some 4 h animals. the uncooperative higs had refused to load and I had missed my appointment at another place to get health papers. My kids were not going to able to show their 4 h hogs. I called literally EVERY vet in blount county no one would do it. At 5 pm on a Friday night Butler did them. They do not normally do large animals but Dr Nathan did it for my kids at 6 on a cold yucky Friday night. That is going the extra mile....maybe 2 miles.
Tammie S. replied:

Karen France Fulgham, I think you'll find three groups of people here in our community.:-) large Group 1 loves Karns Animal Clinic and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere, large Group 2 loves Butler's and wouldn't dream of going elsewhere, and Group 3 thinks it's a question in the category of the underpass.:-) I wish you the best of luck in your decision!
