Knoxville N. replied:
Ideal Veterinary Hospital is who we use. Cheaper than the others and we have been 100% satisfied with them.
For future reference, the one at Kingston Pike and Pellissippi is awesome, but expensive, same for the one on Ailor Ave. One of the regular vets at our usual practice told me about Midway Emergency Vets in Alcoa. It's a bit farther, but she says they are much cheaper. She works there once a week, and she's awesome, so that might be an option for those with a tight budget. I know that we'll try them next time we need an after hours vet, and time/distance isn't a factor.

McArthur is the way to go!!! I have had ideal turn away us away (current patients) during a mild emergency on two separate occasions! Called up mcarthur both times and the fit us right in! We used to go to OR vet hospital and their prices were very high and misdiagnosed heart worms in our dog once.... which would have been very costly treatment had we not gotten a second opinion- those are just my personal experiences of course...
