I have the same worry when it comes to Petsmart grooming, I have taken all of my dogs to Anne’s Pretty Pups for many years now and I have never had any problems. The facility is very clean (they will let you take a tour if you request) and their prices are reasonable. Hope that helps! http://www.annesprettypups.com

We take ours to a place called Puparazzi Salon in Haltom City. It's a little hole in the wall that does an amazing job and they're very well priced. If I remember right, it's $45 for a bath, the cut, anal gland cleaning, and nail trim.

Only get their anal glands done if your pet requires them to be expressed, expressing them unnecessarily can cause problems with them. I say this because most groomers are on auto pilot and just do it.

I know it’s largely the same thing, but we have had good luck with PetCo. We had tried two groomers recommended by our vet before, and neither was able to handle our dog who hates having her head cut. We had been going to PetCo for supplies and decided to take a chance. We’ve been going there about once a month for about 6 months now, and they handle her better than the others did. The haircuts have been good, the baths have gone well, and our dog seems ok with getting groomed for the first time. We go to the PetCo at 465 Sherry Lane.

yea there is a place off mccart and i20 that actually rents out like a booth to you and you can wash your dog and they provide the shampoo and the hair blower, for like 10 bucks, im deff going to check this out soon!
