So...ants. I am sure my entire apartment building is infested. Yesterday I changed the light bulbs in my kitchen, and the light cover had ants hanging out in it...not...

Following up after reading Amazon reviews... The Combat product has been replaced with a new formula which seems to be less effective. One reviewer did mention that another product, Hot Shot ultra clear roach & ant gel bait that seems to work better. Worth a try anyway, the nice thing about the gel bait is you don't have to spray the whole place.

Uh, moisture ants also have wings (not all, just some). They are also in buildings where there's water intrusion issues, leaky roof, etc. They can suddenly swarm on a nice spring day, pouring THOUSANDS into your home... I had this happen once and I swear it was like something from The Birds, but with ants. I'm pretty levelheaded, but it totally freaked me out. I couldn't vacuum them up fast enough. I have some of the Advion Ant Bait gel I mentioned on the other thread in BCB that you're welcome to try, but I believe it's more attractive to sugar ants. I would definitely press your landlord for a more permanent solution, they're like termites and won't go away entirely until the water intrusion issue is solved.
