We used Eastside Exterminators, as they come quarterly to spray for ants/wasps around our house. Spraying and knocking down a ginormous nest out of our tree was not the "norm" for them and we ended up paying a tidy sum. Better than an allergy-induced ER visit, though.:)

We have used them since we moved in (and brought a little mouse in with one of our boxes) a year and a half ago. Have not had a single problem since.

You need to have those black bait stations. I have an exterminator and comes by quarterly and re-fills them. The bait they use is safer than the stuff at the store. When a rat eats the bait, they look for water and die. If another animal comes along and eats the rat, the poison will not transfer over. We use Mathis Exterminators.

Eco Elite Pest Control! They came a few weeks ago for our MAAAAAAAJORRR ant problem. It was bad. Every outside surface was covered... COVERED in ants. We had 3 gigantic nests. They were such a pleasure to work with and after a week after they treated it, absolutely zero ants. I'm SO happy. They had amazing customer service too.

Diamouteous Earth (DE). It is pet friendly. It is not a chemical, it is ancient ground up fossils ;-) Sprinkle lines, to form barriers.

First confirm if they are bees or wasps. Find a picture on Google images to confirm. If they are bees, call a beekeeper from Snoqualmie Valley beekeepers association, they keep a list on their web site.
