Anyone have a dentist and/or optometrist they could recommend in Kingston?

Well in that case. Ive always had fridge magnets for Dr Geeta Naran and seems to have a lot of student patients.

For dental care, Dr. Scott brown or Dr Scott Peterson at Meadowbrook (near the Frontenac mall) and for optometry Dr Marcus Minder at the cataraqui mall. I grew up in Kingston and I've seen them my entire life, they're great!

Dentist Recommendations? I'm new to Kingston and am looking for a dentist - I'm nervous with dentists, so I'm looking for any recommendations for downtown kingston-area.

I've heard good things about the woman (but not the man) at [Dental Care Kingston](http://www.qdental.ca/)
lowercasesandcapital replied:
I'm a little nervous with dentists too. I see Dr Tessier at Kingston Creekside Dental and the whole team there is lovely. They're in midtown (Princess and Parkway), but if you don't drive, it's right on the 501/502 route so it's accessible to downtown.
cjbest replied:
Dr. Turney is wonderful. She is at Limestone Dental. Good dentist if you are afraid of dental work. She is super calming.
jcoville replied:
For actual dental work (cavities, tooth extraction, root canals) I've always preferred Altima Dental at the Princess & Bath traffic circle. If you don't have insurance they are expensive, but if you do they are great.
BigWillyGilly replied:
Dr. Anderson downtown on King St. They are great and they care about your teeth, not your money.

Looking for a good dentist in Kingston I haven’t been to the dentist in a couple of years (?) and I’m overdue and starting to experience an issue with an old crown. ...

cjbest replied:
Dr. Turney is top notch. Been with her for 7 years. She will give you a fair price, plus she is diligent about sending patients to a specialist when needed in order to manage risk and save teeth if they can be saved. No BS at Limestone Dental with overcharging or unnecessary work.
AetherSmyth replied:
For a downtown option, I've been very pleased with Dawson Dental down on Wellington Street. I've only needed cleanings and a couple of preventative fillings, but my mother has been getting a bunch of restorative work done there (after ~10 years of being unable to afford it) and has been enormously complimentary as well. We both had Dr. Chen for our major work and found her to do a great job, but I've found all the staff there to be very pleasant so far.
McPhuckstic replied:
Dr Hannah Hall at Days Rd dental. I had a traumatic experience at a dentist as a kid, haven’t been the same since. Dr Hall is very nice and gentle. Also she was going to see Dave Chappelle one night after she finished with my dental work. Sweet lady and good taste in comedy. How can you go wrong?
