Can anyone recommend a good dermatologist. One who thoroughly checks all areas for your routine yearly skin checkup. The last one I've been going to doesn't really...

I like Dr. Ayers at South Shore Skin Center (same practice as Dr. Eisen). I went to Dr. Gadene for years, and really liked her, but just couldn't stand how long they made you wait in the waiting room. Things may have changed since then.

I went to SSSC last week for the first time. I saw Stacy Burns. I have a non skin related issue that my primary hasn't been able to figure out. Stacy consulted with Dr Eisen & called me with a referral today! Fantastic!!! Definitely recommend their practice!!! It did take forever to get an appointment though!

Elaine K. replied:
Noella sorry about your long waits with Dr, Farber, because I was going to recommend him My husband has been going to him for years aprox every 3 to 4 months for his precancerous skin lesions, my husband is light skinned Norwegian and has lost alot of hair and refuses to wear sun screen so off to the Dermatologist to have the areas frozen, personally, I would think he would prefer sun screen, I've had the liquid nitrogen once or twice for a wart on my finger, and it is painful
Elaine K. replied:
It may go without saying Lisa, but maybe check with your primary for referrral or even see if they can treat you. I saw two different dermatologist each gave me different diagnoses and treatments, after 3 mos when it was time for my appt with my primary, he diagnosed and treated successfully. This experience lessened my faith in the Dermatology practices I had seen, but still wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Farber, who treats my hubby, I wanted to see him, but they told me a year ago he wasn't accepting new patients, but I know that if your primary calls him, he may accept
Brenda G. replied:
