Rene's day care in Kingston. She is at Newcomb Mills. Rene is not just educated in teaching!! She also is into nature. She taught my daughter way more than I could. For my daughter, it was like having a second mom!! She learned allot as well. The plus side is that Rene's daughter helps out and she is going to college for early childhood education and she helps her mom!! It's a win, win situation!! Oh, and she really enjoys everything she does... She put her heart and soul into it!!

Highly recommend Growth Unlimited across from the Kingston Library. My older son went here and my younger son is there now. I can't say enough about this PreSchool, the teachers are great and they really prepare the kids for Kindergarten.

Pied Piper. It's in Duxbury, but right over the line, so there plenty of kids from both towns.
Does anyone know of any summer/day camps in or around Kingston? My son will be starting kindergarten in the fall, but looking for something after he wraps up preschool...

Camp Wing in Duxbury. This summer will be my sons 7 th yr
Heather R. replied:
Your son will be too young to do the came at the Rec center but will be able to do kiddie camp (run through the Rec but held at KES). It usually runs 4 days a week for 2 1/2 hrs in the morning. Julie Bonney runs it and she's terrific with the little on es. It runs for 4 or 5 weeks if memory serves but you can sign up in week increments for about $70 - $80 per week. They have different themes every day /week. next year (when completing kindergarten) he'll be able to do the longer camp at the Rec. I know there is the ymca camp as others have mentioned. I've heard good things about that too .I just don't know much about it. Good luck.

Also look into Camp Wing in Duxbury. The kingston Rec program is also good. Sort of depends on your needs.

Any recommendations for local preschools? I was interested in Pied Piper, but I'd really prefer a Christian pre-school (if there are any in the area). Thanks in advance!

Highly recommend Growth Unlimited. My older son attended for two years and was very prepared for kindergarten. My younger son was there last year and will be in the pre-k class this year. The teachers are great, can't say enough about their program and how they are with the children.
