I know the owner of CCK so of course I am going to praise it. I also subbed at Blue Hills as a retired teacher I thought that was great too

If u need longer hours which I did. Bright Stars in Easton. 730-3 for 1/2 day and 730-530 full day. Very out doorsy and big on farming and nature. Even has an outdoor classroom.

Yes it's June's preschool at the Unitarian Church nextdoor to the Police station. We had a fantastic experience with both the Rodman & Blue Hills Early Education Center. Both are fabulous!!! The teachers at the Rodman are phenomenal, and the director a t Blue Hills EEC is amazing. The student helpers there are great with the kids, they get a lot of outdoor time, and it's a good mix of structured activities as well as free play. They are different but we loved both.
Jann D. replied:
I mainly subbed for two programs at Blue Hills the EEC and technology, guess my passions are obvious lol

Stoughon Extended Day in Stoughton is amazing! They're open 730-6 ages 15-months to 5. You can do however many days a week you want full time or part time. Each age group has their own curriculum that not only educates, but makes it fun at the same ti me. They garden every spring and spend a majority of the summer outside! winter and fall are filled with nature walks, trips to the library, and inside fun including yoga and gym play. The teachers there are pretty great too!
China S. replied:
Jann Davis No, they're actually a separate nonprofit organization. People get confused because they're located on the lower level in the same building as Stoughton Public Preschool

We just looked at a million preschools. Our favorites: - Thacher Montessori - Norwood Montessori, where they do gymnastics everyday - Blue Hills Montessori (can you tell that we fell in love with Montessori?) - Canton Public Schools at the Rodman - Learning Circle (Reggio Emilio approach) Have also heard great things about these preschools, but did not see them firsthand: - Cole-Harrington, which has three locations in Canton - Blue Hills Regional Technical High School, which is one of the cheapest options, and which is a teaching preschool where your child will be one-on-one with a high schooler all day (under the supervision of the lead instructor) Have heard mixed reviews about this schools, some love and others don't, but still worth looking into: - CCK

Academy Preschool in Stoughton. We chose it because the kids do gymnastics every day as part of th program, which really helped our active kid channel his energy in a positive way!

We are at Learning Circle Preschool in Canton (near the Blue Hills). I love it so much. It's definitely a unique and wonderful place. The website and the blog show a good bit of its character but a visit is really informative. There is a kids' concert there tomorrow at 11! Www.learningcirclepreschool.org

Looking for some suggestions: my daughter is 3 and starting preschool at cck in September. I want to sign her up for some activities. Maybe dance, gymnastics, and/or...
Diane F. replied:
My daughter is 6 but when she was 3 on Saturday mornings she did gymnastics at Somersaults in Stoughton followed by dance at Marilyn Jenkins' Dance Works on Jackson St. in Saturday mornings.

I got this brochure put out by the park and recreation dept in the mail a couple of weeks ago. Not sure who to call for one (maybe www.cantonrec.com) but it has a ton of activities in it.
