This may be a silly question but have you turned off the main breaker switch...sounds like you are still getting power to those wires? You have to make sure he is a licensed electrical contractor - not just a licensed electrician or he's not legally allowed to work on your electrical. If you go on the website www.esasafe.com you can find out who has an electrical contractor license, call a few of them & get a few quotes. If you have any questions, call me, I kind of know a bit about this...lol!

We've been very pleased with work done by BJ Electric, small business, so they might need to book the job in a week or 2, but great prices, very professional & experienced.

tell him don't make it a GFCI circuit. if it is, you'll have problems. go here: http://www.myrv.us/electric/ and click on the 30 amp service link in the left top corner. there is a link to a pdf to print out and hand to the installer.
