Why plan in advance to upgrade the "house"? Get it checked out by a reliable RV shop, just as you get a mechanic to check things below the house. Our new-to-us 1995 RT 190P had all those elements in fine condition. Only the Onan generator needed a bit of work.

Gabe Cyr - yes, I have what would be called an "anti-fatigue" mat that fits exactly on the floor between the end of the bed and the front seats of my 190. It is a workshop mat. My article this week is all about that mat and will appear on Wednesday at about 5:30 pm EDT with photos, description, and where to buy. It is nice to walk on - even with bare feet, easy to clean, and if you walk in with wet shoes it is easy to dry with a paper towel (plus you can drop a dish and it should not break).
