I've been going to Byma's Tire and Auto for years. They're at Westmount & Fisher-Hallman. They're a solid family business. I find them very honest, very good customer service, fair prices. They have a nice waiting area, and I believe they have loaner cars.

Costco. Can't beat them when they have their promotions on set of tires. Great warranty, and free rebalancing and rotations.

Go see Chris at Fowler Tire on Manitou. http://www.fowlertire.ca/ He has always treated me well, and fairly priced over several vehicles worth of summer & winter tires/storage. I am a woman as well, this is the only place I would ever deal with because of the great treatment I received.

Fowler Tire, Byma, Dettmer are all on-the-level shops. If you're just looking for 1 tire, just go to Crappy Tire. As for looking for all 4, there's tons of places. Cambridge Auto & Tire at the corner of Eagle and Speedsville put brand new rubber on my truck for $700 cash. $350 cheaper than Costco, and they aren't some offshore brand.
I deal with a guy in Burlington, he gives you seriously deep discounts, sometimes better than wholesale. If you're interested, Contact me at 289-808-3684. He's in Burlington.

If you search under 2007 210P, the first post is from us about our front end trouble. But it does not sound the same to me. You might just be "out of balance" as the weights that balance the tires can come off. A reputable tire and front end shop should be able to help.

Michelin through Family Motor Coach Association were less than the dealer cost. These replaced six year old Bridgestones and the reduced highway noise is noticeable.
John P. replied:
Here is what I think, from experience with lots of vehicles and lots of tire brands. I like Michelins, but Bridgestones, Firestones and others will serve you well. More damage is caused by UNDER inflation, than any other problem, and that includes all tire brands. Some will be better in the rain, some will handle better but not last as long, some will last for many miles, but the ride will be harsher. Tire Rack has good info on tire brands, but whom ever you buy from, Cosco, Discount tire or others, do your homework, (Do not rely on individual opinions, but major reviews). Buy a well known brand, you'll be fine.

FMCA membership is worth the small yearly cost since the benefits are phenomenal. Not only the tire discounts but lots of others and FMCA Assist (a medical evacuation plan) are all included in your membership fee. Check out their site https://www.fmca.com/

Truck stops that have an air hose in the truck lane will get your tires to the right pressure. I did this for a while but it wasn't too convenient so I bought a portable pump. We have dualies in the back, so chains would have been extremely expensive and complicated - think semi truck. In WA they have approved a sock like device that fits on the tire easily in an emergency snow situation, and is easily stored in the van. We don't plan to go anywhere we will need chains - but we have them for those 'must carry chains' situations or sudden changes of weather. I think they are called Auto Socks.
