So many of the many options have already been mentioned, but a couple more are Blount Home Educators Association (meets on Mondays in Maryville which is just outside of Knoxville), and Quest Academy (I forget which day of the week they meet, but they are in Lenoir City which is also just outside of Knoxville). Knoxville is a great area for homeschooling, with tons of support and resources. I hope you find something that is a good fit!
Terina G. replied:
Lots of great Co ops. check out www.tnkidsclub.org

Thursday connection is a great co-op for all ages. Www.thursdayconnection.org. We've been going there for three years now.
Debbie M. replied:
We attend a Classical Conversations co-op once a week in Knoxville, and there are a few of those groups in different parts of Knoxville. It's specifically geared toward the Classical Conversations curriculum, and is a wonderful community. I've also heard of, and have lots of friends who attend, Rivers Edge Academy. I think they have co-op anywhere from 1 to 3 days a week. These are both Christian groups. I hope that you find a group that's a good fit for you!

Truth Trekkers is an excellent homeschool co-op that meets on Mondays. They offer a variety of academically challenging classes and they provide a great opportunity to meet other homeschool families. Berean Christian School is a fantastic umbrella school. They keep up with grades, attendance, and records, and walk you through the process of making sure all of your requirements are met. They also provide yearly standardized testing. I would highly recommend both of these to any family new to the area or new to homeschooling.

Knoxville Christian school on Snyder road in Farragut is an awesome school. They offer pre-k and the president and faculty are amazing. Tuition isn't that bad and they adhere to set safety standards for everything including transportation and pick up. Very thorough. Uniforms are required but they expanded their dress code to include athletic shoes for regular school events. You can check out their website or schedule a tour. We have three of the six enrolled there currently.
