I am looking for some recommendations for a neurologist in New Orleans or Lafayette.
Hester B. replied:
Sheila call me when you get a chance 337-519-3660.
Angela M. replied:
Dr. Schexnayder is a BR pediatric neurologist we saw when Amanda started having seizures. She was ok, not fantastic.
Kathy B. replied:
There are no pediatric neurologists in Lafayette. Damien used to see Dr. Flatt, but he moved to Hammond. Give me a call if you have any questions. Damien was on seizure medication for 2 yrs. after 1 seizure and an EEG that showed he was having seizure.
Sydney L. replied:
I have heard great things about Dr. Flatt
Hester B. replied:
Dr Flatt is no longer in Louisiana
Kim M. replied:
Dr Bertucinni in Lafayette! He did my neck surgery for pinched nerve and bone spur- C5-C-6! I love him! Good luck!

I see Dr. Hargrave. I really like him. I never feel rushed with him.
Ray G. replied:
There is a very good one here in BR. Dr. Kauffman. My Wifes dr.
Lisa I. replied:
Kurt, you might also try consulting my chiropractor, Dr. John Sullivan. He is amazing with nerves and never cracks the spine. My shoulder lost most range of motion and he said it was neurological. In 3 months I regained full range. He also works on carpal tunnel, fibromyalgia, and non-spine areas. He's amazing.
Moe F. replied:
Dr. Karam is excellent. Dr. Patterson is amazing. Both neurologists. If you must see a neurosurgeon the best from personal experience is Dr. Jason Cormier. Good luck and I will pray for you and your family.
Kurt B. replied:
Pretty sure Dr M is dead.
Susan P. replied:
LSU Shreveport is suppose to be the best Neuro Hospital in LA & I'm completely satisfied.
Judy A. replied:
Dr. Steven Goldware.
Angela B. replied:
Dr Goldware is a neurosurgeon not a neurologist. But if you do go to Goldware, be ready to mortgage the hell out of your house because you can't afford him if you have no insurance. That's what he told me. So that's how I ended up in Shreveport. But again that was a surgery for my neck. Now as far as neurologist James domingue. Also heard good reviews on Angela mayeux
Judy A. replied:
Steve Snatic is a neurologist. Also heard that Angela Mayeau is good.
Laurie H. replied:
Dr. Rick Leoni Sr. is both a good neuro doc and a pianist himself. I met him while taking piano with Madelyn Trible. He and I played a couple of duets for one of Mrs. Trible's recitals. I have him on board as my own doc because he knows first hand how important physical function is to being able to play an instrument.
Moe F. replied:
Too old Kurt, took my dad to him and he had a hard time concentrating. Isn't alert anymore. My mom was his neuro nurse and in his hey day he was good, along with Dr. Rivet and Golware. But Rivette has passed on and the other two are up in age. Anyway they are and were neurosurgeons. Big difference between neurologists and surgeon.
Sandra E. replied:
I see Dr Kevin Hargrave. Been seeing him a few years now. I like him and his office is well run.
Does anyone see a neurologist? I am looking for a good one.
Yolanda A. replied:
I do. Alexandria though. Dr. Naalbandian. Waiting on referral for one here.
Shellie G. replied:

From now on, we are asking for copies of all rest results!!

Dr. Callerame at the Neuromedical Center In BR. I went to him a few times for a concussion and my sister sees him for her MS.

Shellie G. replied:
