It's closed on Mondays. Deacon Eiland is his regular barber and he would absolutely SCREAM if he saw what my son did to his head. smh

That hair cut is fine. But the guy is so unprofessional. I remember during my first haircut there he was complaining about fake yelp and google reviews hurting his reputation. I went back cuz my first haircut was fine and I hate finding new barbers. I scheduled a haircut for 8:30am so I wouldn’t miss too much time from work. I showed up 10 minutes early, he on the other hand didn’t show up at all. I even gave him 10-15 minutes to get there and he still didn’t show or answer my call. The female who cuts there then tried to pouch me as a customer by pointing out that she shows up for her appointments. I left pissed looked online at the reviews for the first time and sure enough most of them were about his lack of professionalism and skipping out on appointments. I was annoyed, fuck that guy. I go to barberlove solid haircut every time. His name was Brian I think like I said I only went twice, we’ll only got a haircut once.

I've tried contacting this place to make an appointment a few years back. No one picked up the phone, or responded to the texts throughout about a week. I'm not saying their customer service is bad still, but it was that week at least. I've always had good luck with Jude's by Frandor, the staff seems to be consistent for the past couple of years.

I went there this summer (maybe August?) and I was not happy with my service. Hair was fine, but my beard trim was not. I have a pretty big beard, and the barber and myself could just not communicate, and everything was uneven at the end of the appointment. There was also a constant slideshow of MAGA stuff playing, which I might have forgiven if my beard had looked better.

How much and are they good with African American hair? I’ve been looking for a new barber.
