Does anyone know of any average joes type gym instead of one of the hundreds of globo gyms. I'm just tired of every machine/ bench being taken up mostly.
Edit:...

Sounds like you're a part of LVAC? Leaving them was one of the best decisions I've ever made. What part of town are you in? What's your budget? What are your fitness goals? Are you looking for something close to home or close to work? These are normal questions you should answer when looking for a gym (or posting about finding one...hint hint). Las Vegas is full of awesome gyms.

Iron addicts, it's on s Decatur near sunset. It's relatively small but it never seems crowded. It's a very straight to the point type of gym and most of the members are very likeminded. They even have quite a few powerlifting/strength sport specific pieces of equipment like forza competition bench presses and a monolift for squat.

I frequent Express Fitness at Ann/95 in the Albertson's lot. It's in a strip mall and used to be a Blockbuster. It's not huge, but it is rarely crowded. $15 a month. Just your basic gym. Super friendly people, too.

24 hour fitness on rainbow and 95 is nice.

/u/TwisterII asks some good questions that would help us out in helping you find a different gym to fit your needs. In addition to what he's asking: - What days/hours are you looking to visit a gym? - Are fitness classes important? - Have you looked into combination fitness centers in your area?
