Hi all, I'm looking for some advice on possibly a really daft idea!
I run a Scout campsite on the edge of Dartmoor and we have been stung by planning (as we are in a...

This is where you need a rich Scout group to come camping with their 20 ft mess tent one weekend and decide to leave their tent up, since they'll be coming back in a few years...

There is no reason why you couldn't dig it down say 5/6 ft and make either some sort of block or concrete container. what exactly has DNP allowed you to have? John Davies

Hello everyone :) I've been hooping a little while and looking to buy a decent light hoop for getting my flow on! I found a few ace websites which sell beautiful customs...

Abby I got one of my hoops from firetoys.com. It came promptly and was exactly as advertised. If you want light you may want a polpro: http://www.firetoys.co.uk/firetoys-polypro-hula-hoop-small.html The disadvantage is that you can't get a feel for it before you buy it. Like, my hoop is much heavier than I expected.

http://uk.farnell.com/ Maybe? However sometimes things are cheap and sometimes expensive. They have a trade desk (in lower Armley) but I think there is a minimum order of £10?
Edward L. replied:
One of the more reasonable ones - www.rapidonline.com Farnell can be expensive if the part is not UK stock as they ship over so it can get very pricey. Maplins are Ok if you want a part "Right Now" and don't mind paying the premium - their stock of ICs is mixed but have most of the common ones or equivalents. RS online - Not really bothered with these guys much, they can be quite pricey. We do get ripped off with components in the UK, Europe or states is way cheaper. There is Reichelt.de in germany which are super cheap (visited their shop when I was in Berlin) I thinkt hey have a minimum cost for over seas orders though - £100 or so.
I'm getting ready to drop the money on the Dredd suit. Here is my working list as of now. All the items are from LeatherNext, Bawzprops and Letters of Marquee. I need a...

Etsy man. ;). Earl Blackmore
Mik L. replied:
My personal opinion is Letters of Marque & Earl both make excellent gear, however if you are UK based LoM make more sense & if you are US based Earl is your man. Sourcing locally will save you money on shipping & import charges. Pinski on Etsy makes Holsters or get in touch with Darren Wildman. Having said that it might be worth waiting as Earl is working on a Holster too. As for Con safe Bokers https://www.idmimagineering.co.uk/product/2012-boker-knife/
