we do have Panera. Lots of other nice places too. Downtown Leominster has a small local bakery called Sweet Creations by Gloria and she has nice breads, and sweet things as well. Also downtown is my youngest son's fave Aunty Ellen's Creative Confections for sweets. I have never seen savories there. Though nothing IMHO beats the bean soup at Panera, I like to give a shout out to the locals that we have too--they are great as well.:-)

Does anyone know any places in Leominster that will hire a 14 year old besides the grocery stores?

Try Barbers Crossing on Rte.12 in Sterling. Also, check all of the McDonalds in the area. They may be owned by different franchises, in which case, they adhere to different rules regarding hiring minors. Davis's Farmland in Sterling may be another option. Also, local libraries offer Red Cross babysitting courses, with certificates upon completion, which can help parents to feel more comfortable about hiring young teens for babysitting jobs.
